Description of Your Photo (Please use full sentences)
My wife and I rented an apartment in the les halles area of Paris, during the month of August 2011. We loved all the cafes around the area of The Forum des Halles. The first picture is closer to the entrance to the Forum. In this area there are about five cafes in a row, each one has it own special menu. The second picture is the sidewalk cafe that we made home in the morning, dinner at night and most definitely late night desert on the way home.
Describe Your Technique
I was using an I-Flip camera, just walking down the street. Then I would look at the video and cut out which frame I liked. Some videos I would get more then just one picture. I tried not to just frame the video on any single subject, I tried to just look at the street as if I did not have a camera, as if I was just people watching and the French have that down pat.

What Inspired You?
Just fell in love with the rue Coquilliere area and their sidewalk cafes. There must have been 9 or 10 cafes on this street alone, our favorite cafe was Imprimerie.
