Here's How:
- Get a form from any customs office in France or from any French embassy or consulate. You can also file your report on any unofficial paper.
- Provide the following information:
- Your name
- Your nationality
- Your address
- Your birthplace and birthdate
- Whether the currency or monetary instruments are being transported for a business or other third party.
- Write the following declaration in French: "Je déclare être porteur des sommes, titres ou valeurs énumérés ci-dessous, dont le montant total est égal ou supérieur à 7,600.00 Euros."
- Specify whether the sum is being exported or imported to France.
- Provide details on how the money or monetary instruments break down according to category.
- File the report in three copies. Sign and date each copy.
- File the report at the Customs Office at the port of entry (airports, train stations, etc.)
