The Jardin des Plantes is an ideal spot for those who want to both admire natural surroundings and understand the science behind them. The site of Paris' National Museum of Natural History, the Jardin des Plantes' expansive gardens display countless varieties of plants, including tropical plants. An edifying experience that's sure to capture your senses. Admission to the gardens is free, but there is an admission fee for the museum.
