An Indie Temple in East Paris:
The longtime heartbeat of the Paris indie music scene, La Flèche d'Or is a club and concert venue in Paris' edgy
Gambetta/Bagnolet district whose tumultuous existence has only boosted its mystique. La Flèche d'Or, which has gained a solid reputation for its lineup of eclectic acts and talented DJs, reopened in November 2009 after a six-month shutdown. Neighbors had complained about the ruckus, leading the owners to shutter the venue in order to install soundproof walls. The club books the hottest acts in indie rock, experimental electro, edgy groove and funk, among other genres.
La Flèche d'Or Location and Contact Info :
Housed in a building that formerly served as the Charonne train station, La Flèche d'Or retains an open, spacious and industrial feel. The name, which literally means "The Golden Arrow", refers to the defunct train line that ran through the area in the 1920s and connected Paris to the north city of Calais.

La Flèche d'Or Performance and DJ Lineup :
The venue's program is decidedly eclectic but heavily focused on independent and up-and coming performers, with genres ranging from indie rock to experimental electro, groove and funk, or punk. Clubbing nights inevitably feature some of the city's more experimental and respected DJ's, but the avant-garde vibe may not be to everyone's liking. This is not the place to come to dance if you're looking for mixing to Madonna, the Village People and Alicia Keys.
Restaurant and Drinking at La Flèche d'Or :
La Flèche d'Or has a full restaurant offering late-night noshing fare like hamburgers and mixed salads, in addition to traditional French dishes. On Sundays starting at 12 pm, the restaurant serves brunch set to live music.
The full bar offers beer, wine, and cocktails in the range of around €4-€10 (please note that prices may change at any time).
