Jazz and Flowers at the Bois de Vincennes:
Every summer, the vast Bois de Vincennes park holds a series of quasi-free jazz concerts at its lovely Parc Floral (floral gardens). Spanning around six weeks, the Paris Jazz Festival at the Parc Floral sees talented jazz performers take to the open-air stage for languid afternoons of music, picnics and conversation. Take a picnic and blanket and enjoy the riffs.

Times and Ticket Prices: Open daily, 9:30 am to 8:00 pm. Entry to park: 5.50 Euros (adults) 2.75 Euros (ages 7 to 25)-- free for children under 7. A seasonal pass is available for 20 Euros (10 Euros for spectators under 25).
