Fans of one eccentric German haute couture designer and his signature black gloves, grey ponytail, dark glasses and insensitive gaffes regarding other people's girth will be thrilled: Karl Lagerfeld is gearing up to open his own concept store in Paris in February 2013. According to news agency AFP, the 2,150-square foot space will open on 194 on Boulevard St-Germain, in the heart of the once literary and now posh Saint-Germain-des-Pres district.
Lagerfeld announced the opening during Paris Fashion week. The store will feature items from the famed designer's label, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, as well as accessories, books, and limited-edition objects. It'll even stock the special-edition Karl Lagerfeld Diet Coke range, assuming you care. Fashion addicts should be pleased to see this addition to the Paris concept store landscape, especially during sales season.
