White nights in Paris may be common enough, but Saturday, October 6th marks the 10th edition of "Nuit Blanche", a free annual event in which scores of contemporary artists and performers show off their talent through free installations, performances and other "happenings" across the city. Make sure to reserve a few hours for ambling around Paris and taking part in what's likely to be another memorable white night. Several lines of the metro run until late late or all night this year, and for free, too. So no excuses if you're in town for this remarkable event: get into the fray.
