If you're looking for some unadulterated, unpretentious, classic Parisian glitz, and yes, a touch of kitsch, a night at the Lido cabaret might be in order. About.com Paris Travel Contributor Colette Davidson sampled the dinner and show there recently, reporting back on the whirling dervish-like procession of feathers, rhinestones, and even a live horse. 600 costumes and 23 sets later, the show was over, and our Contributor came away with her verdict: the Lido has worked hard to earn its iconic status, even though some of the dancing, she reports, is a bit lackluster at times...
