Parisians are collectively holding their breaths for the moment when they can once again occupy cafe terraces and soak up a little sun. But until then, Paris in February brings some early reprieve from the winter gloom with events like Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, major exhibits including the "Dancing Through Life" show at the Centre Pompidou and an ongoing retrospective on painter Paul Cezanne and Paris at the Museé de Luxembourg make spending an afternoon indoors a more exciting prospect. And as I always like to point out, February in Paris is also an ideal time to settle into a cafe somewhere with that monstrous opus of a book you've always sworn you'd get around to reading.
